Undergraduation project signed by Helena Paixão de Paula Aranha and Helena Fernandes Nabuco de Abreu in 2012. The students created a light, transparent structure in which books could be fitted in, to be installed in bus stops. Users could freely take or donate books, thus stimulating reading and the circulation of written materials. The project was actually implemented in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and other Brazilian cities through crowdfunding. Parada do Livro was selected for the 2015 Brazilian Design Biennial, under the category of Public Design due to its collaborative and democratic approach.VISIT WEBSITE
