NiaScan captures the geometry of an individual’s residual limb and anatomical features, including color details. The color information is crucial in landmarking subdermal anatomical features that a technician would normally glean from physical assessment of a person in need of a prosthetic or orthotic device. NiaScan has been developed for use with a structure sensor scanner and iPad combination, and can wirelessly transmits scan data to NiaFit. NiaScan digitally captures what trained health workers assess during consultations, but standardizes outputs – improving detail for more comfortable, individualized P&O device production.VISIT WEBSITE COLLECTION: IF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE
