Water is one of the most important elements and is the basic requirement for life on earth. Since people lack the property of water storage, they have to rely on their daily drinking water needs of around 2.5 liters. The aim of the concept is the development of an object to provide a sufficient amount of drinking water for a 1–4 person household in arid and semi-arid rural regions. A minimum yield of 10 liters per day is therefore the target.
