Every year billions of flowers are cut and inserted with metal rods for use in conventional burial crowns.
In Spain, the numbers are as follows:
400,000 deceased a year.
3 crowns per deceased/300 flowers crown/1 metal rod per flower/360,000,000 wires.
It all ends up in the dump without any kind of reuse/recycling, contaminated.
The challenge in this project was the generation of an ecological crown, for its concept and/or materials. The possibilities of combinations are endless from the plants/flowers you want to apply.
