Called by some archaeologists the 'cradle of humanity,' today's Kenya has been said to be located where some of the world's first human beings ever stood upright.
Today, Kenya remains a country rich in resources and natural wealth. Poor management and leadership however, partnered with weak political institutions and the legacy of colonialism have left a large majority of the country's 48.5 million in poverty and with minimal options.
In July, GUD will be traveling to Kenya to partner with three organizations: Destination Teach,(DT), Carolina For Kiberia (CFK) and Pan African Christian Exchange (PACE) Ministries.
