In 1881 at the World Exhibition of Paris, rightly judged to be an «...epochal invention...», it has changed the life and the rhythm of the people. It is so self-evident, that we will be conscious of it, when we, in the true sense of the word, are sitting in the dark, whether, because there is a power failure or the battery does not work, or if it is only defective.
The oil lamps are homage to one of the most brilliant inventors: Thomas Alva Edison.
Confucius is believed to have said: "Lighting a small lamp is better than sitting in the dark".
We have altered his name into konfuziLUX - with "lux" for luminous intensity.
