re-Branding for the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology in Albuquerque, New Mexico

re-Branding for the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology in Albuquerque, New Mexico

The brand for the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology captures the rich collections of the museum. The brand proposed for the museum evokes the expanse of it’s collections and artifacts. Unlike traditional approaches to identity, this logo morphs and changes. This change is based on the genre of artifacts that the logo is being used to showcase. The process of change in the logo is demonstrated here. The project is an extensive exercise in proposed re-branding for this institution.
