Takram, Tokyo, Japan
Kotaro Watanabe is a partner and context designer at Takram, a design innovation company with offices in Tokyo and London. Kotaro aims to use design to tell stories rather than simply create products. He has lived and worked in cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong and Brussels. His projects span a wide range of fields, from service design to speculative design. Kotaro's projects include "Message Soap, in time", a bar of soap with a hidden written message inside, or "Morioka Shoten", a bookstore in Tokyo which sells copies of only one single book each week. Kotaro holds worldwide lectures and workshops. (February 2019)
