Robert Sachon has been Chief Designer at Bosch since 2005, and has shaped the face of the brand in the domestic appliance sector. He initially studied Fine Art in Mannheim, followed by Industrial Design at FH Darmstadt and he completed the General Management Program (GMP19) at the prestigious Harvard Business School. Robert can look back at many years of design experience in the household appliance sector, including his time as a designer for the Siemens brand. Later he was responsible for the design of the Group's local BSH brands in Southern Europe and South America. With his core design team in Munich and the Bosch designers in the design hubs (USA, China, India and Turkey), he creates icons for everyday use. Robert and his team have won more than 700 international design awards for their holistic design approach. Alongside numerous iF Design Awards and German Design Awards, he and the Bosch household appliance design team were honored as "Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2015." (December 2020)
