Kilian Stauss (born 1969) set up his office, stauss processform, in Munich in 2013 and formed the Stauss Grillmeier partnership with partner Josef A. Grillmeier in 2008. Kilian studied industrial design at the State Academy of the Fine Arts Stuttgart and at the Istituto Europeo di Design. In 2007, he was appointed as a professor for the Faculty of Interior Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim. For him, design is a way of finding solutions to problems in dialog through design. At stauss processform, he works, among other things, on graphical appearances, guidance and orientation systems, web pages, interfaces, books, furniture, exhibitions and the design of spaces.
