It prevents the failure at cooking that results from not getting the proportions right, making the food too bland or too salty. Book titles are displayed differently using braille so that there is no confusion in finding the right one. The concept is that visually impaired individuals can look at the cookbook and easily put in spices of appropriate proportions according to the recipe. The pages containing condensed spices are ripped off and put in according to the recipe. With the appropriate proportions, meals can be made without difficulty.
