Live slingshot / lifebuoy

Live slingshot
Live slingshot

Live slingshot is a device to rescue drowning people on the shore. The conventional rescue way needs to throw a lifebuoy to a drowning person with manpower. The throw distance of lifebuoy will be strongly limited by the strength and skill of rescuers. By using the live slingshot, rescuer can adjust the angles of catapult to control direction and distance and then launch the lifebuoy to the right location of drowning people. Compared to the conventional rescue way, live slingshot is an easy and efficient design to raise the success probability of drowning rescue.
