Lighting up a sports field or a court at night consumes a great deal of electricity, so this concept employs PZT and the energy produced by the athletes themselves to save energy and still light up the area. This lighting element uses the pressure of every step taken by the athletes when they move or hit the ball, no matter what time of day, and converts this pressure into an electric charge to be stored in a battery. This is able to provide enough power to light up the sports field or court at night.
