Lack of fresh water for 800 million people!
The governing idea is inspired by desert insects. Using the temperature difference between ground soil and ambient temperature, we can collect water where there is no normal source. The temperature difference between night & day in a desert is considerable.
The condensation surface (a reflexive plastic sheet) accelerates the water gathering process. The dew drops cool down and condense under this surface, and finally drop in the storage part (screw formed accumulator). Also, by placing a small weight on top of the condensation surface, the optimal shape is resulted to accumulate all the dew drops.
