V Hanging Strap / product design

V Hanging Strap

The common hanging strap is a pendulum structure, it composed by a single pivot plastic belt. The pendulum structure can’t afford the lateral force. To afford the MRT accelerating or decelerating force and to prevent fall down, most of straphangers hold the hanging strap, stand carefully and make their body direction parallel to the way of MRT. The application of structural mechanical is our design concept. The ring and plastic belt of the hanging strap composed to a triangle structure. This structure can afford lateral force when the straphanger pulls the ring. It can effectively reduce the burden of the feet and avoid the risk of fall down.
