Don’t you think that laying forks and knives or spoons and chopsticks on a napkin for table setting is waste of resources?
Well, we have a hygiene problem if we put those directly on a table.
Also, the table will be stained by the food on forks and knives or spoons and chopsticks if we lay them on the table without napkins.
Not only the table but also your fork handle may get dirty by the food. Moreover, if the table is too full with a lot of dishes you may have difficulty finding enough space for your forks and knives. Therefore, I propose you think about the the 'pin hygiene dish' this won't make you worry about where to put your fork
