Walk on Chiku Lagoon / Wave energy dissipating block

Walk on Chiku Lagoon
Walk on Chiku Lagoon

Now the Taijiang inland sea becomes the biggest lagoon in Taiwan.
The sea level rise and the sand going to erosion the lagoon.
The three sandbars are disappearing and it also means the lagoon will be gone.
If lagoon is gone, a very unique landscape and its own ecosystem in Cigu will have a huge impact.
Besides, the changing of the shoreline will expose Cigu to the great waves, strong wind, and flooding.
Therefore, before the lagoon disappears, we should try to help local fisherman and ourself protect
the natural habitat and reduce the speed of environmental damage caused by global warming.
