The safety socket / product design

The safety socket
The safety socket

Generally, for the sake of power supply efficiency, there are still considerable number of countries that supply 220 voltage instead of 110 regardless of safety concerns. Despite having been told to lower the standard, 220v has survived in many different jurisdictions. Thus, the use of 220v has resulted in a loss of many lives over decades, especially if touched by infants or children out of curiosity.

After years of elaboration, I proudly present “The Safety Socket” which is designed to keep children from sticking their fingers or metal objects into the outlet holes.
