This diploma thesis intended the exemplary execution(utilization) of a rational design process for the development of a campaign. Additionally it shows that a given theme always allows for a variety of potential solutions. The chosen theme ‘prophylaxis – campaigns targeting caries’ displays a high relevance as it is the infectious disease with the highest spread (98 % of all European citizen suffer it to varying degrees’). The disease is tightly connected to living habits and self-responsibility (in particular eating habits and oral hygiene), and can thus serve as a perfectly admissible cause for a behavior targeting campaign.
