Nature-fresh / Washing machine

Nature-fresh
Nature-fresh

Nature-Fresh is a product for the home that looks to create a shift change in the future of washing clothes. It uses natural oils and activated charcoal to refresh your clothes over night rather than washing them. Simultaneously it reintroduces “friendly” bacteria into our environment to help reduce incidences of immuno-responses such as hay fever and asthma.
Ethnographic research identified the key drivers being the environment and health in a need for a paradigm shift in cleaning clothes. Some proof of concept testing was carried out at University College Hospital which alongside public engagement surveys helped shape the final design.
