In recent years the health and concepts of Lohos have been held in high premium by Taiwanese people, and thus processed food has been put under stricter inspection. Such a trend has subsequently brought traditional handmade items into the attention of the public.
The patron of the project, Hsilo Handmade Soy Sauce, is among the few shops which produce soy sauce with classic, traditional methods.
