The aim of this project was to take a closer look at sustainable design in the attempt to define a personal philosophy and a set of parameters for designing for sustainability.
This essay deals with several aspects of sustainability as viewed through my eyes. It brings forth and discusses the nature and reality of the concept of sustainability from an environmental, social and economical standpoint, exploring how they relate to and interact with one another. It delves deep into the ethical and philosophical nature of production and consumption in an attempt to root out the essence of our consumerist culture.
