Situation: Magneta / textile systems for rooms

Situation: Magneta
Situation: Magneta

People should feel comfortable in their surrounding.
Nowadays rooms can't fulfill this claim anymore due to a more and faster changing life.
Rooms and walls should be more dynamic to give us what we need.
Magneta is a vertical textile system solving this problem as a room divider or curtain.
The manufacturing on a jacquard hand loom allows to weave small but strong magnets into the fabric. From the outside they are invisible, but if you hoist the fabric slightly, the magnets attract themselves. First, a three dimensional pattern based on an ancient embroidery technique appears, then the whole textile is climbing up to the ceiling gradually
