Sniphtest / Housewares Product

Sniphtest
Sniphtest

Sniphtest is a reusable milk jug cap that tests for the quality of milk. It measures pH which can help indicate the “freshness” of the milk. As milk spoils, bacteria buildup results in increased amounts of lactic acid. Due to the spoiling process that milk undergoes, it is possible to test for freshness by finding the pH at which it is spoiled. Users need only press a button and read an LED display to receive feedback about their milk being “spoiled” or “fresh.”Sniphtest uses already available technology but applies it in a novel way.
