Ataturk Arboretum / Wayfinding Interpretive Design

Ataturk Arboretum
Ataturk Arboretum

This wayfinding and interpretive system aims to preserve the natural space by putting the minimum information necessary in the garden and the extra information about each plant in the guide book. Every plant has its own interpretive signage that contains the family name, Turkish and Latin name and the number of the corresponding page in the guide book. The visitors can choose how they want to explore the garden: either by walking around and looking at the page number of every plant or by looking at the location of each plant in the book and then walk in that direction.
