Lotus pencil box / stationery

Lotus pencil box

Design students spend long hours together working in studio, but we retreat to our own spaces for sleep. We each have a bed, a room, and a quiet environment to return to after working in studio all day.

Why should pens have to live in a pencil case with no time and space alone? Pencils often break when being transported. The Lotus pencil box provides individual space for pencils.

The design is inspired by the distinctive circular seed pod of the lotus plant. The seeds rest in separate chambers within the pod. The Lotus pencil case gives each pen individual space for protection just like the lotus plant.
