Hautwelt / Jewelley + Temperature-Balance

Hautwelt
Hautwelt

The project is an abstraction of skin structures. Several skin-coloured materials are used to experimentally imitate phenomena of the skin, e.g. silicon which convey soft und smooth feelings, or silicon surfaces and synthetic leather shaping into padded textures through inserted cherry pits. The use of cherry pits creates an additional sense of wellbeing, adopting the skin’s function of temperature balance.
