ALMA / Outdoor lamp

ALMA is an outdoor lamp using bio-energy harvesting and non-hazardous thin-film batteries for collecting and storing energy with minimal effects on the environment. ALMA uses the energy created in the natural PH balancing process that occurs between the soil and the tree. It harvests the energy and stores it in non-hazardous long-lived thin-film batteries. The lamp is lit up using LED lights triggered by motion sensors. The lamps can be placed in various compositions depending on need. Using natural energy from trees, long-lived low maintenance components and few parts makes ALMA easily implementable in any environment where trees are found.
