Can a modular shelving system be freely combinable without using additional junction elements?
SNAP uses a mechanism that is milled into plywood. Utilizing the flexibility of the material, the modules interlock and form a strong yet reversible connection.
SNAP is based on three different elements.
A great variety of structures can be created by simply slotting together modules. Assembly and disassembly is fast and completely tool-less.
SNAPs geometry is optimized to be milled out of plywood-sheets with only one contour cut: A sheet material becomes a mailable product in a single manufacturing step.
