E-scrapbook / electrical scanner and display

E-scrapbook
E-scrapbook

This is a brand-new concept of E-books. In future, masterpieces of the past will be kept in libraries as paperback books. By contrast, the new design combines optical scanning with electronic paper. All the valuable paper documents and pictures in a library can be scanned, pasted, and made into E-books. Thereafter, they can be displayed on electronic paper.

One is to reduce the amount of printing paper consumed, i.e., to minimize the number of trees cut down. The other is to convert all the information of existing books into digital data, while paperback manuscripts are preserved in libraries.
