The Project approaches a subject not so disseminated through Brazilian press, but it affects the population in an unexpected way: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. SIDS strikes seemingly healthy babies causing them to die during sleep. The proposal was the development of a solution that could help avoid and prevent SIDS and provide babies with a healthy and safe environment. The product assures the correct position for babies to sleep, the supine position. Having its development based on the Brazilian culture, this product has in its concept two typical Brazilian objects, originally from Indians, the hammock and mat.
