One-way bump / Road sign

One-way bump
One-way bump

One-way bump does not block the vehicle which moves in the right direction because this will be folded smoothly along the inclined side of the bump by the force of the vehicle’s weight and direction. While the vehicle is passing the bump, the bump will be kept folded but after crossing, it will gradually return to its original shape by a pneumatic actuator. Reversely, if the vehicle approaches the bump and tries to pass it from the wrong direction, the bump which is not inclined (upright barrier edge) will hinder the vehicle from passing properly. Therefore, the bump will make the drivers give up driving from the wrong direction.
