The temporary installation restores leisure functions in controversial public spaces.
Captivating the pedestrians implies two phases: drawing attention and involving passers-by. The first is obtained through the motion driven interactive panels, the latter by action driven interactive cylinders. The two parts are also linked by folk elements.
The panels are combining the motion generating image with the stripes drawing. Thus results a movement effect when pedestrians walk by each panel.
The cylinders use a rotating movement applied by pedestrians to the wooden cylinder and the carved traditional pattern lights up in a self maintained system.
