Charms and Disguises / Fairytale furniture objects

Charms and Disguises
Charms and Disguises

The furniture objects; ‘Golden Stool’ and ‘Bye Bye Little Lamb’ are an exploration of the deeper meaning of original and dark fairytales.

Old fairy tales are more than stories aimed to entertain children. Forget the sweet images of magical wonderlands. Old fairy tales live their own lives, each with unique and individual qualities.

My aim was to capture the strong sense of imagination behind the folklore. I wanted to show that a product can transform when the owner gets to know its personality. The objects should like fairy tales allow the teller and listener to apply their own magic when observing them.
