Qing Man Yong / Illustration

Qing Man Yong
Qing Man Yong

In Taiwan, we often say “Qing Man Yong” before eating a meal, which means “please use slowly.” We hope everyone can thoroughly taste and enjoy their food. However, busy modern lifestyles cause our pace of life to become faster. People choose processed foods such as microwaveable or canned products for convenience because they don’t have enough time to prepare and cook. In addition, many people cannot eat slowly because they have to rush back to work.

Our creative work uses the rubber stamp technique, which can print out identical patterns in a short period of time, to show the concept of food identically processed at a rapid pace.
