Inspiration for this piece of furniture was an old English tea table. During our research we have noticed that due to its size, a side table for living rooms can either be used for tea or coffee or serve as a repository for daily newspapers and books.
Our goal was to combine both functions in this table and to interpret the classically elegant form with a new shape. The extraordinary thing is a recess in the leg, where magazines can be stored to save space. The side table is made of lacquered beech wood. The respective connections for foot and tabletop have been developed specifically for this table.
