Responsive Causality
Responsive Causality

Responsive Causality is an interactive installation that generates chain of events between physical objects and digital simulations. The work consists of a physical domino, a series of projections, pulleys, videos, LED signs, kinetic robot finger, wires all interacting with micro-controllers, and a metal aircraft hangar door. All components together create a hybrid chain reaction system inside the gallery space that was a former aircraft-testing facility built during World War II. This system allows people to open the aircraft hangar door by simply tipping over a single physical domino.
