MATRJOSHKA / jug with multiple uses

MATRJOSHKA
MATRJOSHKA

Matrjoshka is a water jug made of silicone inspired by traditional bota bags. Squeezing the sides unrolls its spout so that liquids can be filled in or poured out. The functionality of the jug can be enhanced by adding different covers, turning it into products stimulating all senses.
With a suberic shell it can be used as a thermos jug which also holds two cups. Other possibilities are a massage device, a fragrance diffuser or a hot water bottle.
Every material and production process used on the jug and its peripherals has been carefully chosen creating an intelligent mix of industrial mass production and traditional craft techniques.
