Pineconia

Pineconia is an interactive lighting composed of organismic structures and responses. The work is about relationship between light and the ecology of the space. The ethereal form is articulated in the reference of ancient origami technique, and with a concept of biology for graceful movements: joints, sensors, muscles and photophores. The work allures an imagination of the technological renaissance in the life of the future, which AI furniture detects dwellers’ mind and responses with meaningful behaviors, our space would become an ecosystem filled with sensations and emotions, the representations of life and the surroundings we live in.
