Millions of people suffer from asthma. Long-term control can reduce asthma attacks for most asthmatics. The Dreamcatcher system facilitates a daily control procedure in a playful and easy way.The table top device is used for checking the level of nitric oxide (NO) every morning and evening, providing an accurate measurement of their asthma inflammation. Users inhale and exhale through the device, which measures the NO level over a 10 sec controlled breath. The cushion device is used each night, to monitor the users breathing rhythm. Irregular breathing patterns trigger a glowing light, which calmly wakes the user before an attack can occur.
