This small item can help you quickly finds out whether a watermelon is ripen or not, by determining the vibration frequency of watermelon. When in its early mature stage, the watermelon pulp tissue is tight. And the tissue keeps absorbing water and growing loose, because the cellulose is decomposing during mature. Most test results indicate that: when the vibration frequency is more than 189Hz, the watermelon is still unripe; when the vibration frequency is between 160~189Hz, the watermelon is half-ripen; and when vibration frequency is between 133~160Hz, the watermelon is fully ripen; and when less than 133Hz, the watermelon is over ripen.
