In general we like cut the eraser into small pieces when using it, especially when painting, because small part to wipe need edges and corners, while ordinary eraser only have six edges and corners, the eraser can be divided into 48 smaller squares, the whole is a big square, when you need to rub a small part but cant find edges ,you can break off a piece or plurality.
