Syria tea. Continued / Tableware design

Syria tea. Continued
Syria tea. Continued

This design takes unique “Cup Couple” as the subject. “Cup Couple” is the product
of Taiwanese aboriginal culture. It originates from the custom of tribesmen drinking
tea together to cement friendship. Drinking tea from a single tea pot means sharing.
This design has the unique feature of pouring tea soup from a single pot on top of a
creative tea shelf holding “Cup Couple” and the soup will fall from two different
channels of the shelf to the twin cups meant for two friends. This cultural
connotation can also be applied to a wedding when bride and groom formally
exchange cups of wine.
