Small modifications have been done to the classical design of a spoon to convert it into a product that supports the common gesture of spreading granular products over on edge.
One edge of the spoon has been elevated and perforated with holes. A movement from left to right has to be made to fill the spoon, whereas the opposite gesture is used to distribute the content over something. Products like salt, pepper, dried herbs or the cocoa to spread onto your cappuccino can stay in their containers and the spoon acts as a temporary shaker. It can also be used as a strainer to fish small things out of liquids.
