Lumiru / Lighting + Electric fan

Lumiru
Lumiru

The image we have of basic home electronics is becoming more and more cheap. The markets are spread in two with the clearly visible high end and the low end products manufactured from cheap materials. Designing the basic electronic hardware in a newer, fresher way, we can change the image associated with said range. The lumiru project was designed to reflect something completely different from other such products. Lumiru was inspired by the snowy landscapes of north, and while it is essentially an electronic fan,its primary function is to change the mood of a space, adding something to daily life.
