plasmajet dental

The Plasmajet dental is a device for reducing tooth decay and for plaque removal by using a cold plasma flame. It is designed for the use in dental offices and uses the technology of the cold plasma, which is already used in medicine for disinfecting hands and surfaces. Cold plasma is body compatible and can reach temperatures of maximum 40 ° C. The plasmajet disinfects root canals, tooth surfaces and kills caries bacteria specificly. In cooperation with an institude, I designed and developed a concept of a practical device. Ergonomics, mobility, usability and visual integration into the dental surgery room took precedence.
