Fade / cup mat

Fade
Fade

“Fade” cup mat changes with temperature. The “thermochromic ink” printed on the aluminum piece presents different images when contacted with hands or hot water to remind people some global warming issues. A series of images include a cherry tree, a polar bear, and a shoal of fish: A bloomed cherry tree turns into a dead tree, the iceberg where the polar bear stands disappears, and the shoal of fish disappears, causing loss of fishermen. A series of global warming issues are revealed after the cup mat is in contact with something of high temperature.
