smart homes / sustainable urban living

smart homes
smart homes

The idea was to re-design the typical european homes located in suburbs to get much more sustainability with a concept that includes the house and the location as well. The favourite and proved location that exists in each city is a recycleable waste space. To get a hight density I find out that a 6000 thousand years old typology of courtyard house called "riad" from marrackech, marocco is the best way to densify wasted urban spaces by recycling them. I optimized this typology to the needs of european inhabitants and concepted it with sustainable materials like wood- and lightweight steel constructions. The scale is variable fron XS to XXL
