Rain Bud / Umbrella

Rain Bud
Rain Bud

In Southeast Asia, it’s usual that architectures have overhangs to keep rain out. But sometimes, the overhangs aren’t connected so people need to open and close their umbrellas often on their way at rainy days.
“Rain Bud” is an umbrella to reduce the times of often open’n close the umbrella to help people walk easier and have a good experience using it at rainy days.
When you raise rain bud and it would fall it’s petals, like a flower blooming. When you walk under a over-hang, you can lower it and it would like a flower bud. Its stem can be pull back when unused. And you won’t get your cloth wet by the drops cause they are inside the petals.
