Due to the growing change of the age groups worldwide, issues such as society and the third age, accessibility and quality of life become more and more evident. Therefore, the designer must assure through his projects that these issues are solved. This project aims at developing a walking cane which is ergonomically correct, and prioritizes a practical utility that provides improvements to its functionality. Besides, it attributes value to the object, as it promotes some familiarization between the product and the user, with the objective of providing quality of life to the growing consumer market of the third age.
